Storm The Palace are proud to announce that we will be performing at the benefit for Kortney Matthews on June 25th at the Port Hope Rec Centre from 5:30-7:00pm. From the Facebook page:
“Hello everyone i am throwing this event for a great women. She has just been diagnosed with cancer… I wanna put this event together to help raise money to help her family through this difficult time as she fights to beat this… Right now Kortney is going through chemo treatments and medical bills are adding up. her husband Kevin has taken a leave of absence from work to help get her appts and help take care of the children. House hold expenses are adding up..
We will have lots of vendors there to shop from! Vendors will be contributing to he raffle table come out and see the great items up for grabs! There will be live bands playing all night… as well as a power lifting demo going on..
Raffle table tickets will be 3/$5, 6/$10 or an arms length for $20
My son and some of his friends are baking lots of goodies to sell at the event and all the money they make they are donating to Kortney. There will also be face painting for $2.00!!
I know its a Sunday night but come on out and support a wonderful mom, wife, daughter, friend…..
