STORM RAVES ON HALLOWEEN

PORT HOPE – United by a common background and a love for 1980s music, Storm The Palace will set the musical stage on Halloween with a dance at the Port Hope Lions Centre.

Singer-bass player Christian McFadden, guitarist Adam Weatherup and drummer Tim Fleming are all Port Hope-born and -bred, McFadden said in a recent interview.

All three attended Port Hope High School, and all loved the music of the ’80s. And they have been playing together, on and off, for about 20 years.

“We’ve had a lot of fun together. And we’ve been doing all-’80s music for about three years,” McFadden said.

“The last couple of years, we have really struck a nerve. There was a need for non-classic-rock stuff.”

Their favourite ’80s music seems to come from two streams, he said.
